This PAT Tester has been updated in line with the 5th Edition of the IET In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment and now includes functionality to test surge-protected equipment.
According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), any competent individual can perform PAT Testing with the proper equipment. Our free online PAT Testing course provides comprehensive guidance on the process, ensuring participants gain the confidence and knowledge necessary to carry out PAT Testing independently. If additional training is required following the course, we recommend attending an in-person competency program to further enhance skills.
